New enthusiasm for mixing dough
|
Reviewer: T. Pendergrass, Seattle, WA
They work great and do not over beat the dough as we were doing with our food processor. Has made the KithchenAid hand mixer the most used of our processing tools.
Thank goodness!

This is a wonderful attachement to have. I have a cookie recipe that I was never able to mix in my Cusinart (yes I know that is not what it is for) and had to resort to hand mixing. When making large batches it can be so very tiring but no MORE! This worked wonderfully and will get use for every dough recipe I can come up with! If you get the Kitchenaid Hand Mixer for yourself or as a gift, please add these on! :)
Heavy Duty

These dough hooks are strong enough for the toughest dough. No bending noted and quick clean up in the dishwasher.
Must have

Had a hard time believeing these mixer hooks were a must have, but they are. They make mixing stiffer mixes (cookie dough, thick batter) a breeze. They are a must have.
Beware of WHERE you purchase these from - may not be genuine Kitchen Aid

Reviewer: M. DeMeo, Bloomingdale, NJ United States
My mother has these Kitchen Aid dough hooks and raved about them, so I purchased them from a third party on Amazon. Luckily, I had purchased a set from Bed, Bath and Beyond and had seen them before. Although the ones that I purchased from the "third party" site fit the mixer, they were smaller and lightweight compared to the ones from Bed Bath and Beyond. You can tell that they would have gotten stuck in the dough, unlike the heavier ones purchased from Bed Bath and Beyond. They arrived packaged in a brown bag with no indication that they were Kitchen Aid. I was able to return with no problem, but I will only buy directly through Amazon, or other sites that I know for now on.
